The tides come in on the Pacific Ocean filling coves, inlets and shores with force and sometimes turbulence. I painted this piece from a recent visit to the Central Oregon coast. Thee is no specific location just my observation of the might of the sea against the cliffs! Painted on a deep Birch wood panel, the smooth sides are finished in a medium fruit wood with a durable polyurethane coating.
